On the third Sunday of December (18/12/2022) one of the last dance tournaments in Poland this year will be held. It will be the Championships of the Warmian-Masurian Dance Sports Association together with the National Sports Dance Tournament, which are planned in Elbląg.

A voivodship championship is an event that takes place at the end of the calendar year in each region of Poland and aims to select the best pairs in all age categories, broken down by dance styles. Participation in the Voivodeship Championships allows couples to qualify for the Polish Championships.

The accompanying nationwide tournament is a competition where children and young people with various dance experience can present themselves. Everyone wants to improve their skills and test themselves in sports competition. There will be children from 7 years old to couples over 15 years old. Among the competitors, you will see couples starting their dance path, but also dancers with high dance classes, i.e. with great skills. Everyone will fight for medals and points in the general sports qualification.

The tournament will be divided into 3 dance blocks, each of which will be followed by an awards ceremony. The dance competition will be judged by an experienced judging panel, including judges from Warsaw, Konin, Gdańsk, Giżycko, Toruń, Olsztyn and Elbląg.
