A carnival tradition is upon us! For the sixth time, Światowid Cinema invites children to a carnival party combined with screenings. The Carnival Film Ball - will be held on 12 February (Sunday) at 12:00.
The end of the carnival is a clear sign that Kino Światowid's offer will include a special event for the youngest viewers. As in previous years, children can prepare any costume they like, which will be related to characters known from films. The event will begin at 12:00 on the stage upstairs. Under the watchful eye of the animators, the children will dance not only to the rhythm of film hits, but also participate in various movement games. And at 13:30, there will be a screening of one of two films (of your choice): "Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom" or "JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Riddle of the Scorpion".

"Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom" (France, 2022, 111 min).
The year is 50 BC. The Empress of China, as a result of a coup d'état led by a treacherous prince, is imprisoned. The kidnapped ruler's daughter, Princess Fu Yi, together with her faithful bodyguard and a Phoenician merchant, travels to distant Gaul to seek help for her country. This is how she meets Asterix and Obelix, two brave heroes who will stop at nothing to bring order where there is chaos and lawlessness... and where they can also eat. The Gauls gladly agree to the princess's request and, together with her friends and an adequate supply of the magic drink, set off on a long and adventurous journey to the Far East. However, the famous enemy of Asterix and Obelix, Julius Caesar, who is eager for new conquests and is gathering a powerful army to conquer the oriental land on the other side of the globe, is also keeping an eye on all this.
"JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Riddle of the Scorpion" (Sweden 2022, 83 min)
Jerry and Maya face a challenge worthy of the greatest detectives. The big celebration - the 500th anniversary of Valleby - is approaching, but preparations are interrupted by a series of audacious thefts. Someone is determined to prevent Valleby's much-anticipated celebration from taking place. Lasse and Maja don't hesitate to get involved and, with the help of grumpy, retired master thief Lillie, try to track down the thief. But who is the cunning Scorpion really, and what is his motive? Will Jerry and Maya manage to solve the mystery and stop the robber from ruining Valleby's festivities?
