Światowid Cinema invites you to the March instalment of the "Wtorkowe kino dla dorosłych" (Tuesday Cinema for Adults) series. On 7 March at noon, there will be a screening of the film "Opiekun" (The Guardian). A unique picture that brings the figure of St Joseph closer to the everyday life of modern families.
A superbly promising philharmonic violinist and her husband, an ambitious local radio journalist, are going through a marital crisis. Due to increasing problems and a constant lack of money, Dominika becomes interested in a rich businessman, while Robert cannot cope with the break-up of his family. When he is assigned by his boss to tell the unusual stories of pilgrims arriving at the nearby shrine of St Joseph, claiming that a miracle has happened to them, he discovers that his story also has a lot to do with the silent guardian of the Holy Family. At the climactic moment, when he has to make a decision that will decide the fate of his family, will he behave like .... St Joseph?
