The rising band Dosello will play in Elbląg for the first time! They are a duo playing modern music, built by cello and handpan. The seemingly opposing instruments create a magical harmony on stage. Their juxtaposition is a novelty in the world of music. We invite you to a concert by Dosello on 21 April at the Nobilis Gallery in Centrum Spotkań Europejskich "Światowid" in Elbląg.
Dosello's performances introduce the world of acoustic sensations, inspiring the discovery of inner potential and stimulating the imagination of listeners. Based on their compositions, which combine the rhythmicity of the handpan with the melodiousness of the cello, the artists create a space for experiencing a whole range of musical emotions. On the other hand, they follow the need for tranquillity by inviting lightness and harmony into their performances.
About the musicians:
Dagna Krause
"I have been playing the cello since I was six years old. I completed my music studies in Poznan, then permanently came to my hometown of Elblag. I went through various jobs and occupations: office assistant, receptionist, caregiver, occupational therapist... From July 2022 I returned to concerts - the cello was waiting for me like a best friend. I create, dance, write, paint and love with music. It is as natural as breathing, it accompanies me on the road and complements life experiences. I play in a variety of spaces - theatre, dance festivals, the Elbląg river marina, art galleries. I love talking to listeners in the language of the cello. Will you allow yourself to be invited on this journey?"
Damian Urbaniak
"My day job is to create handpan music, which I love immensely. I organise concerts, sharing my own compositions. This is an expression of my authenticity, expression and character. I carry this vibration for people as a symbol leading to tranquillity, relaxation and peace. For me, the handpan is a tool that takes you to a completely different dimension of reality. I am fascinated by the holistic approach to human life, and I draw inspiration and knowledge from the writings of Traditional Eastern Medicine. On a daily basis, I also realise myself as a massage therapist, practising Lomi Lomi Nui massage and Shiatsu Bodywork. I love communing with nature, going to the mountains and having fun with life. All of these things make my body feel healthy and strong. I will share a little bit of good energy with you too!"
