The 25th-anniversary edition of the National Word Art Festival "... czy to jest kochanie" will start tomorrow, 17 March 2023. Elbląg will become the arena of struggles of nearly 50 lovers of words from all over Poland, which will be judged by a distinguished jury. Everyone is welcome to attend the auditions - entry is free. Such an event requires a special setting and decoration. See how the hall of Centrum Spotkań Europejskich "Światowid" in Elbląg has changed. <See photos>

Free auditions
- Great texts and excellent musical compositions - it has always been the case that the participants of the Festival prove how exquisitely words and music can be combined - say the organisers. - That is why we are already inviting all Elbląg residents who would like to participate in this unique event to free auditions of artists entered for the Festival. You will be able to see all the performances on Saturday, 18 March. - add the organisers.

The Stage on the Floor will be the arena for the artistic struggles of the reciters. There, among others, we will hear fragments of works by Adam Mickiewicz, and Olga Tokarczuk, and poems by Halina Poświatowska. In the Nobilis Gallery, performers of the poetic song will present themselves. This year, the Festival jury will include Monika Kowalczyk - Kogut, Jarosław Wasik, and Krzysztof Ogłoza - add the organisers. Auditions of reciters begin at 10 a.m., and of participants in the poetry song category at 5 p.m.

Laureate Concert and Final Gala
Out of nearly 50 participants, the best will be selected to perform during Sunday's Laureate Concert (starting on 19 March at 5 p.m.). The culmination of all this will be a concert by an exceptional artist: Stanisława Celińska, who will perform with a band led by Maciej Muraszko. During the concert, the audience gathered in the "Światowid" will be presented with material that is a compilation from all her previous albums: "Atramentowa", "Malinowa", "Jesienna" and the latest "Przytul". This will be the event that crowns the XXV anniversary National Word Art Festival "... czy to jest kochanie?".

An exceptional edition with two stars
A concert by Stanisława Celińska and a gala concert are not all the attractions that await lovers of valuable words this year. On the first day of the Festival, i.e. Friday, 17 March, Edyta Geppert will perform in front of the Elbląg audience. The recital of this exceptional artist, with the participation of Piotr Matuszczyk (piano) and Jerzy Szarecki (trumpet), according to the script and directed by Piotr Loretz, promises to be exceptional. The event, which kicks off the jubilee XXV National Word Art Festival "... czy to jest kochanie?", will take place on Friday, 17 March at 19:00.

• at the box office of Centrum Spotkań Europejskich "Światowid" in Elbląg. The box office is open from Monday to Friday from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm (or 15 minutes before the first screening). On Saturdays and Sundays from 11.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
• at the ticket machine located in the hall of CSE "Światowid" in Elbląg (card payment) from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
