Screenings at the Światowid Cinema

We would like to present to you the offer of Światowid Cinema from 24 March. We invite you and look forward to meeting you.

"Up on the Roof".

A British romantic comedy with a Polish accent. A love story that draws you in and warms your heart. Numerous plot twists with a dose of comedy and drama. "Up on the Roof" is coming to Światowid Cinema on Friday, 24 March.

The story of two people - Emily and the amusingly charming 42-year-old Polish man Stefan, who has been living in London for years. The couple fell in love 15 years earlier, but the proverbial "happy ending" was not immediately written for them. By a surprising twist of fate, will their meeting after so many years be a reason to rekindle their love? Richer in life experiences, will they give each other a second chance? What do their loved ones have to say about it all?

Piotr Adamczyk alongside British film stars. "Up on the Roof" at Światowid Cinema from 24 March.

"Saint"

Events from the past are shown subjectively. The story of the most media theft in the history of the People's Republic of Poland. "Saint" at Kino Światowid from 24 March to 7 April.

This is the story, inspired by true events from 1986, of the investigation into the most media theft of the end of communist Poland. On 20 March, a symbol of veneration - a figure of Saint Adalbert carved in silver from a baroque reliquary - was stolen from Gniezno Cathedral. The militia lieutenant entrusted with the case establishes cooperation with the clerical hosts of the cathedral. Both parties are keen to recover the statute, but cooperation is difficult, as relations between Church and State have never been so tense. The theft took place less than two years after the death of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko... Three equivalent plots play out throughout the investigation.

Although it is a crime film, it is not without a dose of humour and the lightness of cinema from overseas. "Saint" at Światowid Cinema is available from 24 March.

"John Wick 4"

A record amount of action, bullets, blood and smashed cars and fight sequences that will go down in cinema history forever. "John Wick 4" at Światowid Cinema from 24 March to 6 April.

Prices are going up, so also the stakes for the head of the legendary assassin John Wick have already pierced the ceiling. Facing a final duel that could give him the freedom he craves and a well-deserved retirement, John knows he can only count on himself. For him, this is nothing new. What has changed this time is that he has an entire international organisation of top-paid assassins against him, and its new boss the Marquis de Gramond is as sophisticated as he is ruthless. Before John comes face to face with him, he will have to visit several continents measuring himself against a whole bunch of tough guys who know all about killing. Just before the grand finale of this murderous symphony, John Wick finds himself on the trail of his distant family, whose members may have a decisive influence on the outcome of the whole game.

A film that draws you in and doesn't let you look away even for a moment. "John Wick 4" at Światowid Cinema from this Friday onwards.
