The topic of the conversation with Piotr Matkiewicz is the Meble Wójcik Ultra Wysoczyzna run. This is the biggest event for ultra runners in this part of the country. On 22 April, around a thousand runners from all over the country will line up at the starting line over several distances.

🏃‍♀🏃‍♂ GUEST: Piotr Matkiewicz - Associated with the sport since childhood. He graduated from the Academy of Physical Education and Sport, gaining qualifications as a coach and instructor, and from the University of Gdańsk, Faculty of Management.

The first level of his professional career was the Department of Sport of the Municipal Office in Elbląg, where he was in charge of, among other things, investments, sports events and procedures related to sports scholarships.

For the last 5 years, he has been working as Event Director at Labosport Poland - one of the market leaders in sports events in Poland. For several years, he has participated in the organisation of triathlon events (including the Garmin Iron Triathlon, the European Cups, and the Polish Championships), events in mountain biking, mountain running, street running or MTB cycling. Piotr Matkiewicz's main task is to oversee the process of organising sporting events, marketing and the process of obtaining administrative permits.
