"The Magic Flute"

A beautiful story that is full of magic and introduces the young viewer to the world of opera. Two worlds that intertwine to create a wonderful and unique aura. "The Magic Flute" at Światowid Cinema from 21 April to 4 May.

Tim is a teenage boy who dreams of a singing career at a music school named after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. When he finally achieves his goal and crosses the threshold of his coveted university, something unusual happens. In the old school building, Tim discovers a magical passage to another world - a mysterious land from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, where only imagination sets limits. When the boy is magically transported there, he is instantly transformed into Prince Tamino, the main character of the story. From now on, Tim will have to face adversity in two realities - by day in the real world, trying to win a coveted role in a university play, and by night risking his life to free the beautiful princess Pamina in a land of limitless fantasy.

An opera composed by Mozart in a musical edition aimed mainly at young audiences who are beginning their adventure with the world of opera. "The Magic Flute" is already on at Światowid Cinema from 21 April.

 

"Save the Tree"

An extraordinary story about the wonderful world of nature, which is threatened by human actions. An animated comedy that teaches the youngest to interact with nature. "Save the Tree" at Światowid Cinema from 21 April to 11 May.

In the forests of the Pyrenees, there are still people who remember trees possessing fantastic powers that are hard to imagine. As soon as their seeds sprout, a goblin appears by their side and becomes their inseparable companion from now on. So the legends say. The goblins are invisible to adults. Only children who live in harmony with nature could see them. Children used to help the goblins. Now there are fewer and fewer goblins and magical trees. Only children who get close to nature again can save them from extinction. Get away from the computer - save the tree!

"Broys"

Marcin Filipowicz makes his debut in black and white. An extraordinary story about the search for one's path in life, full of music and unpretentious rebellion. The story of two teenage brothers who have only themselves to blame. "Broys" at Światowid Cinema from 21 April to 4 May.


Filip is seventeen. More than anything, he loves skateboarding. He has always lived in the shadow of his brother Bartek, who is two years older. The boys have to cope with the recent loss of their mother and with their father, who plunged into mourning and depression and isolates himself from the world by escaping into drugs. Prematurely forced to take responsibility for themselves, the "broys" catch their last moments of carefree fun. Accompanied by Bartek's girlfriend Klaudia, they wander around the suburbs, skateboarding, spinning blanks and partying, having sex in the first cars, and smoking their rubbers. What they don't realise is that they are about to face a tough test of brotherhood.

Will an unexpected situation cause such close-knit brothers to drift apart? "Broys" from 21 April in Światowid Cinema.

 

"Beau Is Afraid"

A hilarious black comedy that tells the story of overcoming one's fears crazily and surprisingly. Starring the reliable Joaquin Phoenix in the title role. "Beau Is Afraid" at Światowid Cinema from 21 April to 4 May.

Beau is afraid. Because life overwhelms him. Because the world is dangerous. Because everyone wants something from him all the time. Because his mum will be sorry if she doesn't come to visit and he would rather sit in the bath. An unimaginable chain of events, however, forces him to confront his fears. On the other side of his fears, real life and an extraordinary, spectacular, adventurous journey await.
