"Pomosty" 2023 is ahead of us

On Sunday, 4 June 2023, at the "Światowid" European Meetings Centre in Elbląg, the last ballroom dance tournament of the season will be held in our city - OTTS " Pomosty". This is a competition with a long tradition addressed to people who are passionate, willing and enthusiastic about developing their sporting interests in dance. During the event, children, youth and adult couples from all over Poland will compete on the dance floor in Elbląg.

The "Pomosty" tournament is an ideal opportunity to present all the artistic and sporting qualities of ballroom dancing. It is also a way to integrate the dance community and popularise physical activity. Above all, however, the competition aims to select the best couples in ballroom dancing. All competitors will compete for cups, medals and points in the overall sports qualification. The dancers will also have the chance to raise their dance class.

The tournament will be divided into three blocks. A total of 28 dance categories will be contested.

Block I will start at 10:00 a.m. Children aged 7 and over with the least experience, i.e. dance classes G, H and F, will present themselves here.

Block II will be played between competitors with dance classes E D and C. This part of the tournament will start at 2:00 p.m.

Block III, which starts at 5:30 p.m., will be danced by the most advanced dancers, most of whom have dance classes C, B and A.

The competition will take place on Sunday, 4 June 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the sports and entertainment hall at the "Światowid" European Meetings Centre in Elbląg. We are already inviting all the residents of the city and region to the audience! We guarantee extraordinary emotions, professional organisation and a rich artistic setting.
